This is a "walk on the wild side" of the Overflow Creek area, above fabled Three Forks, which form the West Fork of the Wild and Scenic Chattooga River. This outing will serve both as nature walk and learning experience for those interested in learning more about management plans of the U.S. Forest Service for this pristine area of national forestlands, which has long been recommended for Wilderness designation. Hike wends past the Frog Pond and ends at a pretty nice waterfall on Overflow. Details on Satolah quad map.
