Meeting Time, Place, and Directions:
Meet 1 p.m., Sunday, August 7 at the south end of the Ingles grocery store parking lot in Clayton. We then will carpool to the trailhead, about 15 miles into the very wild Warwoman area of the Chattahoochee National Forest. Or, meet us at 1:30 p.m. at the trailhead, at intersection of Hale Ridge and Overflow Creek roads.

Distance and Difficulty:
This is a loop hike on well-defined Forest Service hiking trail to both falls, returning to trailhead on a portion of Hale Ridge Road. The hike is approximately 3.5 miles, with a total elevation gain of about 400 feet. Bring your cameras. Easy for the experienced hiker, moderately strenuous for the novice.
Limit:
12 hikers - Anyone over the age of 10 is welcome! Bring: Lunch, water, rain gear, appropriate clothing and footwear, hiking poles, etc. (Allergic to bees/wasps? Remember your meds/epi-pen)
Cancellation: Hikers will be notified if hike is canceled due to forecast of severe weather, etc.
